A special area in the ski arena Gitschberg/Jochtal is dedicated to snowboarders and freestylers. The ski arena Jochberg with its 20 kilometres downhill is not far away from Hotel zur Linde.

Apart from alpine ski sport lovers also a lot of cross-country and luge fans get their money’s worth during a winter holiday in Pusteria Valley. In Maranza two cross-country ski tracks with a total length of16 km and an easy-middle level of difficulty wait for you. The round track at Valles is also ideal for children and beginners. With 8 km length it leads you across snowy woods and meadows. Directly near Hotel zur Linde you will find a lot of luge runs that grant great fun to both children and adults. A 3 km natural luge run leads from Valles Valley to Fane Alp. An amazing experience is the luge run at night. Every Wednesday at nightfall the luge run is illuminated.
